Pew Charitable Trust: Who’s Winning the Clean Energy Race

April 2012: China attracted $29 billion in wind energy investment in 2011 – more than three times that of the next G-20 nation.  The investment helped drive 20 GW of new wind capacity in the country – almost half the 43 GW of wind installed globally that year.
