Sustainability experts from Nike, Facebook, HP, IKEA to speak on low carbon innovation: ask them Qs on Twitter

NEW YORK: During Climate Week NYC 2013, some of the world's leading corporate innovators, including sustainability experts from Nike, Facebook, HP and IKEA, will discuss how large companies are successfully unlocking low carbon innovations to transform markets.

Many of the world's leading businesses are already investing in low carbon innovation. Facebook recently inaugurated a massive new data center in Sweden that runs entirely by hydroelectric energy, Nike’s 'Flyknit' technology reduces shoe waste by 80% and IKEA has long been a clean revolution leader.

The session, which will take place on September 24, will engage these companies and other world leading corporate innovators on how they are successfully unlocking low-carbon products, services and innovations to transform markets–including through pioneering partnerships with start-ups, venture capital investors, government-backed programs and non-profits.

The event will also include announcement of the winner of the first EarthHack crowdsourcing innovation challenge, which was delivered in partnership with Marblar and supported by IKEA and Philips Lighting.

Following the two panel discussions there will be a Q&A with audience members which will be open to Twitter users. If you would like to participate, you can ask your question now, to any of the speakers, using hashtag #CWNYC.
