The Climate Group and nrg4SD are partnering for this official side event during COP18.

The event will look at policies and actions of subnational governments for overcoming political challenges behind mitigation; conducting consultations to identify the natural assets of their territories; and establishing partnerships between public administrations, the private sector and academia to accelerate progress. 

Speakers: Governors and Ministers from developed and developing subnational governments part of the Network of Regional Governments for Sustainable Development, nrg4SD, and The Climate Group’s States and Regions Alliance; as well as private sector representatives with hands on experience on establishing successful public-private partnerships.
